Song Meaning of “Inside Out” by MxPx
Inside Out by MxPx is a song about overcoming feelings of hopelessness and despair. In it, the narrator is in a place of darkness, described as being “on the inside” and it’s up to him to seek the light that lies “on the other side”. He promises himself that he will be brave enough to pull himself up and make the journey out of his despair.
The narrator acknowledges that while the dark times might seem endless, there is hope if he is willing to try.
