“Bluffing” by K.Will is a song about loving unconditionally despite all of the pain that comes with it. He’s willing to put his own emotions aside and put his partner first, because he loves them so much.
The narrator has experienced enough betrayal and heartache to know how damaging it can be, yet he can’t seem to stay away from this person. He even goes so far as to admit that he’s bluffing, that he’s playing an emotional game where the stakes are too high. He knows that if he lets his guard down, he might get hurt beyond repair, but he’s willing to take the risk for love.
The narrator is also trying to make it clear that his love is unconditional, that no matter how much pain he goes through, he’s still willing to stay by this person’s side. He’s trying to show that he’s willing to take the worst that life can throw at him, just to keep this person close. He’s even willing to put up a front, to “bluff” if he has to, just to make sure that his love will be reciprocated.
