Demon Blues is a song about facing one’s inner demons. The protagonist has been struggling to overcome his inner darkness and doubts, and in the song he pleads for help in his struggle. He acknowledges that though it’s an internal battle, he can’t take on his problems alone. Through the song he acknowledges the idea of turning his darkest moments into something positive. He recognizes the power of the demons that have overcome him, but ultimately accepts that while he is powerless to combat them, he knows he can make things right again.
